November 13, 2017 – TORONTO – COACH: Canada’s Health Informatics Association today announced that it will be changing its name to Digital Health Canada, effective November 30, 2017.

“Digital Health Canada represents the work of our members and partners across traditional, emerging, and future industry segments,” said Leon Salvail, President and Board Chair. “The new name modernizes our brand and brings greater value to our members as we work to bring together converging domain areas and new groups of professionals across Canada.”
As Digital Health Canada, the association will continue to serve its diverse and growing membership community as they work to advance digital health and improve health access, experience, and outcomes for all Canadians.
