Instructions for Authors

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and contain the following headings where relevant:

  • background/introduction
  • issue/problem
  • context
  • methods
  • results
  • implications
  • discussion
  • conclusion

Abstracts may report on research or other types of projects, initiatives, or best practices/policies for topics relevant to nursing informatics.

Submissions can be in the following formats:

  • Oral Presentations: 20 minutes [15min+5min for questions]
  • Rapid Fire Presentations: 5-minute presentations using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 secs
  • Posters: Printed posters which will be displayed throughout the conference day and a separate time for poster viewing.
