Bio
I have completed my PhD in Nursing at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, in 2016. While working at the UofAlberta (2017-2020), I received funding from the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). I strive to combine my interest in eHealth and Health Information and Communication Technology (such as electronic patient portal) and philosophies and theories attuned to the socio-materiality of nursing practice. In particular I am interested in how Health Information Technologies are implemented and in contextual factors that shape successes and failures of eHealth initiatives.
