Identifying Improvement Areas for Nursing Documentation Efficiency

SickKids implemented a new EHR June 2018 ensuring complete electronic documentation across the entire organization. Following stabilization of the system a project was undertaken to assess the state of nursing documentation  and to make recommendations for improving efficiencies. This presentation will review the data gathered, the methods used for collection and analysis, the findings and the associated recommendations.
