Executive Board - 2019 Elections

The Canadian Nursing Informatics Association is seeking members for a 2-year term. This year we are seeking volunteers for the following positions:

  • President Elect – 1 position

  • Treasurer – 2 positions

  • Directors of Membership – 2 positions

  • Directors of Research – 2 positions

  • Director of Communications – 1 position

  • Director of Education – 1 position

    Incumbents are currently reoffering for the following:

  • Director of Membership

  • Directors of Research

    In recognition of the workload in the current environment going forward CNIA will be seeking Co-Directors for board positions. We are hoping this approach will assist with the workload as well providing support for the position.     If you are interested in one of these positions please complete the nomination form: CNIA_Nomination_Form 2019.pdf (PDF) or CNIA_Nomination_Form 2019.doc (DOC) and submit to Peggy White at past-president@cnia.ca by May 17, 2019, 11:59 PM ET. You must be a member of the Canadian Nursing Informatics Association.

    The slate of Nominees will be announced May 23, 2019

    Voting will be conducted online between May 23, 2019 to June 3, 2019 at 11:59 PM ET

    A link to an election survey will be issued to all CNIA members for voting. If no additional nominations are received for the positions, the incumbents will be acclaimed. 

    An announcement of the new board will be made at the CNIA AGM June 13, 2019 in Fredericton New Brunswick. 

    The AGM will be available to all CNIA members through ZOOM.
